Frozen is a photographic poem of my travel in Yakutia, as well as a survey of a place in the world the few of us know and may not have heard of. What does it really mean to be human? What kind of feelings are left with? How is it growing up in a winter landscape that at first sight can feel like a winter fairy tale?
I focus on the relationship between people and being present – present in a world I find it difficult to understand but also a world I want to understand. Frozen is an insight into my universe, a universe that is about loneliness, incomprehensibility, love and fascination.
